This course deals with concepts, principles, theories and techniques of nursing care management of clients with maladaptive patterns of behavior of individuals, families, population groups and communities, across the lifespan, in any health care setting. The learners are expected to provide safe, appropriate, evidence-based, holistic and individualized care to meet the full range of needs of the client person/s experiencing psychiatric emergencies and or those with mental health alterations through the principles and cultural/ethnic sensitivities.
